AI Stays Local is built on other people’s work, and says so. Nothing in this product is presented as ours when it is not.

Inference engines

Third-party engines are used under their own licences with their notices preserved. The runtime keeps inference behind an adapter so a better engine can be adopted without the product being rebuilt around it. The notices that apply to a given build ship with that build.

Models

Model weights are published by their own authors under their own licences, which vary and which you should read before redistributing anything. We state each model’s licence and provenance on the models page, and we do not present a publisher’s model as our creation.

This website

Geist and Geist Mono are used under the SIL Open Font License and served from this origin rather than a font CDN. The site loads no third-party script and makes no third-party request.

These pages describe the contract: ports, endpoints, volumes, the permission model and the behaviour you can expect. The command reference for the CLI is published with the build each tester receives, so that it matches the binary in their hands rather than a page written ahead of it.

Available through a controlled private beta. Larger model profiles are added as they complete hardware validation.
