This notice covers the website at aistayslocal.com. It does not cover the desktop application, which is not released; that will have its own notice describing what the software does on your computer.
Who is responsible
the operator of aistayslocal.com (entity to be confirmed) operates aistayslocal.com. The legal entity, its registered address and, where one is required, its representative and data protection contact, must be completed before this notice is published as final.
What this website collects
Browsing the site: no cookies are set, no analytics are running, and no advertising or tracking technology is present. Your browser makes requests to our content delivery network in order to receive the pages, and that network necessarily processes your IP address and request metadata in transit to deliver them. Access logging is not enabled.
Appearance preference: if you switch between light and dark, that choice is stored in your browser on your device. It is never transmitted to us.
Beta applications: when the application form is accepting submissions, it collects your name, email address, country, a description of your computer, your intended use, the edition you are interested in, how much testing you can do, and the fact and time of your consent. It does not collect documents, and it should never be used to send confidential material.
Why, and on what basis
Beta application data is used to select testers, to understand which hardware to support, and to contact you about the private beta and this product. The basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form and can withdraw at any time by writing to hello@aistayslocal.com. Withdrawing does not affect processing that already happened.
Who else sees it
Our hosting provider serves the website. When the application form has a live backend, the service that receives and stores applications will be named here before it is switched on - that is a condition of switching it on. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Beta applications: until the private beta programme ends or you ask us to delete them, and in any case no longer than twenty-four months from the date of application, after which they are deleted. Correspondence you send us: as long as needed to deal with it, then deleted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to processing, to receive it in a portable form, and to complain to your supervisory authority. Write to hello@aistayslocal.com and we will act on it.
International transfers
The hosting and delivery infrastructure for this website may process requests outside your country. The specific arrangements and safeguards must be set out here by the reviewing attorney once the final provider configuration is fixed.

If this notice changes materially we will say so on this page. This version is a draft prepared by the product team and is marked as such deliberately.
