Website and private beta terms
These terms cover the use of this website and applying to the private beta programme. They are not a software licence; the application, when it is released, will have its own.
The website
aistayslocal.com is operated by the operator of aistayslocal.com (entity to be confirmed). It is an informational site about a product in development. Its content is provided as it is, without warranty, and it describes intentions as well as facts - every capability is labelled with its status for exactly that reason.
Forward-looking statements
Pages on this site describe features that are planned or under development. Anything marked “planned” or “private beta” is a statement of current intention and not a commitment. Plans change, features are cut, and dates move. Nothing here forms part of a contract.
Pricing
Any figure described as anticipated is exactly that. Final pricing will be published before anything is sold, and applying to the private beta creates no payment obligation.
The private beta
Applying does not guarantee a place. We select a limited group and we are not obliged to explain the selection. If you are selected, the software you receive will be pre-release: incomplete, possibly unstable, and capable of losing data. You should not rely on it for work that matters without a backup, and you should not treat it as fit for any particular purpose.
Participation may be subject to a separate agreement covering confidentiality and feedback, which will be provided before any build is shared. You may leave the programme at any time.
Intellectual property
AI Stays Local, the site content and the design are ours, except where third-party material is used under its own licence and credited accordingly. Open-source components used by the product are governed by their own licences, which are preserved and reproduced in the application.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt this site or gain unauthorised access to it. If you want to test its security, the responsible disclosure policy sets out how to do that without either of us having a problem.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the content of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. The governing law and jurisdiction must be completed by the reviewing attorney.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The version in force is the one published on this page.
